Helda bean

The Helda bean is a variety of tender bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) that is characterized by its tender, long and flattened pods. It is also known as the "Enrami Bean" because of its growth habit, as it tends to climb trellises or supports as it grows. Helda bean pods are bright green in color and usually measure around 20-25 centimeters in length. They are highly appreciated in the kitchen due to their tender texture and sweet flavor. The Helda bean is a popular choice to be steamed, sautéed, added to soups and stews, or simply cooked as a side dish. This bean variety is known for its yield and productivity in cultivation, which makes it attractive to gardeners. Its tangled growth can also be beneficial in small gardens as it takes advantage of vertical space.
